Adding a New Address
- Create a new customer or open an existing job.
- Enter the full address in the address field.
- If the map marker does not land in the correct location, drag the marker to the right position.
Changing an Address
- Go to the job you want to update.
- Select Edit Job.
- Enter the correct address, or drag the map marker to the right location.
- Save your changes.
Fixing the "Cannot Assign" Error
If you see an error saying you cannot assign a job because of a missing address, follow these steps:
- Check the map above the customer name — if there is no map displayed, the marker has not been set.
- Click Edit Job.
- Enter the postcode in the address field.
- Click Search to find the address.
- Select a general address from the search results.
- Drag the map marker to the exact location.
- Select the padlock icon to lock the location in place.
- Manually enter the full, correct address in the address field.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click Edit Job again.
- Click Save Changes a second time to confirm.
- Verify that the map now appears above the customer name.
- You should now be able to assign the job to an installer.
