A Guide to Addresses

Adding a New Address

  1. Create a new customer or open an existing job.
  2. Enter the full address in the address field.
  3. If the map marker does not land in the correct location, drag the marker to the right position.

Changing an Address

  1. Go to the job you want to update.
  2. Select Edit Job.
  3. Enter the correct address, or drag the map marker to the right location.
  4. Save your changes.

Fixing the "Cannot Assign" Error

If you see an error saying you cannot assign a job because of a missing address, follow these steps:

  1. Check the map above the customer name — if there is no map displayed, the marker has not been set.
  2. Click Edit Job.
  3. Enter the postcode in the address field.
  4. Click Search to find the address.
  5. Select a general address from the search results.
  6. Drag the map marker to the exact location.
  7. Select the padlock icon to lock the location in place.
  8. Manually enter the full, correct address in the address field.
  9. Click Save Changes.
  10. Click Edit Job again.
  11. Click Save Changes a second time to confirm.
  12. Verify that the map now appears above the customer name.
  13. You should now be able to assign the job to an installer.
